How do I know if Direct Access is working?

It normally takes about 5-7 business days for the line PIC (Primary Interchange Carrier) request to be completed. To check if it’s done, simply dial 1-700-555-4141 from your line. If you hear the DCI prompt, then it means that the PIC has completed and you can now make your long-distance calls directly through DCI. If you hear something else, then it means it has not been completed yet. If it’s past the normal wait time, please contact us.
